well... partly because the forums have been so quiet and partly because things need to be discussed now and again, i just want to make some observations on this happenstance. at one time, when hits were more strictly vetted, this would have been a cause for some attention. at many times such a spate of hits would often be reduced to only one or two -- just for the unusual nature of the occurrence. that may still happen -- perhaps not now, but at some time in the future. (it HAS happened to others here)

the other issue that might be germane here is that with the fairly short turnaround and the comments at both entry points, it almost appears as if the notes were withdrawn, stamped and then deposited again. i am not saying that that is what happened in this instance, but all should be reminded that such a thing is usually discouraged by the rules we play by here. i just wanted that reiterated while i am thinking about it...
