Subject: re: Average time from entering to getting a hit

I will venture into this talk (thread) and post my humble opinion. After entering a few bills here with no less than 18 different stamps some on the serial side only and some on both sides in red blue green and black with various themes on the stamps and different sizes. I suggest the use of one theme stamp like the one used by Idjit. KISS (keep it simple stupid) is the best idea. if your stamp is to large or involved it just ticks people off snd gets pulled at the bank. It also makes auto bill readers reject them. I now carry a mix of both marked and unmarked money as I use bill readers many times a week. My accountant would rather I use credit cards but have not strolled that far away from tracking to go back to non cash function. I average a few hits per week even after cutting my entries to next to nothing. Some members have very high hit ratio because of where they live and spend their marked money. I use to know where many trackers worked and aided there business by going to those locations to buy items I used on a weekly basis. I did not think of this as planting bills but as giving a fellow tracker my business. Since I have levelled off in tracking (no longer enter my limit every day ... like I use to) (now I am lucky if I enter my one day limit in a month). Select a stamp that is special but not overboard and hard to read and go with that. Red is a good colour as seems to sneak by bill readers and draws some extra attention. Remember that Saskatton and Saskatchewan has many many trackers so marked bills in those areas will be entered more than other areas of Canada. Good luck to all trackers may the hits roll on. Seems the only time I come on site anymore is when I get a hit notification.
