stealth hits are a lot of fun but they can sometimes result from when a member has just entered serial numbers that they know exists but has never seen the notes -- this has happened on the site. i once gave a stealth hit unwittingly to a member as i entered serial numbers from crisp, uncirculated notes -- quite a surprise! and then there was the story of a member who fairly entered over 1300 serial numbers of notes that he didn't mark or stamp in ANY way and was finally rewarded with ONE stealth hit (that remains his only hit to this day). it was quite an experiment!
