WE are going to have snow until mid April this year and that will eat into spring clean up time. I have lost tons of money on the residential side as those customers are on a seasonal contract and that price does not change. In a normal winter we make about 26 visits in the season per house this year by December 15th. we had passed that number so amy further visit eat up my profits as of last week our residential customers have paid about 9 dollars per visit and every future visit lowers that average so I think by the end of the season we will be at about 6 dollars per visit which sucks. Now on the commercial side they pay by the time but we only go out to those when theRre is at least 2 inches. My figures will have to be calculated to see if the commercial profits exceed the overall costs. In seasoms of little snow we make good on residential and poor on commercial. Our company has a mix of customers to try and even out the low snow and high snow years. This is a great season for totally commercial operations. But according to my information do not expect to see grass in Saskatoon until mid April.
