Well on Dec. 20th. I will be on this site for ten long years. (Please let me get out my soap box one more time).

As the years went by I have watched many friends I have had the privilege to meet in person and some only on the site. Many have left the site and moved on to other things in life. Gone are the dinner meetings we shared and those were good times ...gone are the breakfast and coffee meetings all faded away. Gone are the regular site updates as DR. constantly tailored the site for peak performance. What are not gone and will remain forever in my mind are the great times I have shared with many of the other members and the wonderful pranks of the past like DR's April Fools joke of 2004. I thank the following people for the kindness they have given me as their friendship will always remain in my heart and mind .. John Brian Ben Randy and Greg and many others too numerous to mention all with screen names used on this site and only after I had the privilege to meet some personally was I able to call them by their given names. My hit dad who I visited many times at his old job was always great to talk to and get business tips from, john who I had known before getting on the site through business dealings spent many days and evenings with me talking about business and our aging parents when he broke his leg I was there to help him through all the hospital visits and endless trips to help his recovery, to the numerous site members who hired my company to supply them with services, the handy man of the group who helped me with repairs to my home ... to all of you a big thank you and a wonderful Christmas wish for you and your families for a bright prosperous and happy New Year.
The other side of the coin I would also like to thank the many other members of the site who kept me on my toes and challenged me at every opportunity... we never did get along and never were friends however I did respect your views and more so the right for you to be able to express your opinions openly. These rights were awarded to us from the many vets who made our way of life available to us. In closing I am truly sorry to see this site heading to a slow death I was here for the high times and will be here for the low times the roller coaster ride continues and as a lifer I will remain here until the end.
