In light of the past happenings of the past two days, I feel it important to comment. My apologies for not commenting sooner, but I have been busy at work programming for clients and, as you'll see, talking with Bitonic's Internet service provider.

1. For those that are unaware, an email was sent out by someone, publicing this site. It didn't come from me, this site, my company or anyone associated with me (ie. friends or family). It seems that a number of the users at www.whereswilly.com ("WW") were targeted in this email.

2. In response, some WW users complained. A couple complained to this message board, and some went so far as to acuse me of SPAM to my service provider, without even consulting me. That's fine, I know all too well how easy it is to get wrapped up in something and fly off the handle. I forgive them. And if I can forgive them, so can you.

3. Under NO circumstances do I condone, encourage or in any way support any kind of act which is taken against the www.whereswilly.com ("WW") site, either in response to these events or to anything similar. And would ask you to tread carefully when dealing with the WW site and act responsibly.

And I ask that you not be childish as 'BUSGUY' was when he stated:

Any www.cdn-money.com bill I find will have the CDN-Money website obliterated and Whereswilly stamped onto it.

This is clearly a poor attitude, and is something we would expect of a six-year-old child not that of a mature adult in their 30's. In fact, I'm pretty sure even a six-year-old would know better than that as it's harsh, off-the-deep-end attitudes similar to this which fester and grow until a tragedy like Septermber 11th occurs. As such, this attitude should not be supported in anyway. In fact, I encourage the opposite. If you run across a bill with WW stamped on it, go to the site and enter it, without marking our URL on it. And I would hope that the majority of their users would do the same. I see no reason why the two sites cannot co-exist. There is, after all, a great deal of money in circulation.

4. I think that perhaps the mail was sent out in with good intent, as a means of letting these other users know about this site. Because for the most part, the two camps of users are mutually exclusive, that is WW users don't know about us, and a lot of us didn't know about the WW site. And the users of one, aren't users of the other. Regardless, let's let the past be the past and please refrain from sending anything like this, especially to a targeted group of people.

5. Finally, let's stop publically comparing their site to ours. Yes, I like this site better, but I built it. Maybe you like this site better too. If so, send me an email and tell me, don't post comparisons here for all to see. I do not care if their users bad mouth our site on their message board nor do I care if they come here and post messages about their thoughts on how much better WW is than this site. If they like the workings of WW better, then by all means they should use WW. For us, if there is something that you think they are doing poorly, email me and I'd be happy to pass on your comments to Hank (who runs the WW site). Hank is a first class individual and firmly agrees that both sites can exist together, and that both our sites, in his words, "are about having fun, not picking fights or being petty about which site your prefer".
