Actually, Bankcollector made a very good point about the bills and I can respect that. I am just glad that side was said and I say, whatever works as it is up to the individuals and places of business. Its just my preference that I do that.
Actually, I was going to comment about the idea of 50 and 100s being tossed about and the lack of acceptence. I can genuinely see the point as from both sides as one who has in the past carried a few hundred and fifties and I know it sucks sometimes when it comes up, but I just wanted to say that I used to work in retail (sort of, cash business anyways) we didn't have a policy of denying cash, but I do know that when a counterfeit was taken to the bank, money was lost because the bank rejected the money, it was taken out of circulation etc. I too think it was kind of weird as it did seem like it was always smaller stuff that was caught, as it is most likely the smaller bills that are more likely to be counterfeited as it is less likely to attract attention in my books. I am not sure about the stats for 50s and 100s etc, but I think they are just covering their butts more than anything, as nobody else will, but it is kind of different.
